About ALASI
At ALASI, everyone belongs.
We are a community-driven nonprofit born from the shared dedication of Latino and Caucasian neighbors who believe in the power of unity, dignity, and welcome. ALASI was created as a safe and supportive space where immigrant families can thrive—not just survive.
Our mission is simple: to break down barriers and open doors for the Latino community through education, access, cultural celebration, and advocacy. We believe in honoring identity, lifting up voices, and promoting cultural understanding across all of Dubois County.
